Helper Thread

This thread is a general thread for Helpers and up. If there's anything that helpers need to be informed about (by Mods or other helpers), questions about what you need to do, or anything else that requires a Helper's attention, it goes here.

All Universal rules apply here.
This is NOT a thread for the general member. Any posts by anyone other than Helpers or Wiki Mods/Admins will be deleted.
Any questions related to the wiki belongs on the Wiki How to/Q&A thread.
Any questions related to another user should be kept to a PM.

I felt it would be better if this was re arranged alphabetically. Or at least set up like the AQW page as in "Admins, Mods, Helpers (When we get some) and just regular members. Feel free to change if not though owo

I wonder, can we get the Season Rare tag in the OS wiki? Its kinda misleading to say "rare" sometimes.

Yea, I suppose we could import any missing tags, since they'd all be related now. Not sure if mturf wants to create new tags with a different font, or use the existing ones.

i'm happy to make new tags. i need to actually remake the elements to take up less space. but now we have a little but of a community here i'm game for feedback.
1 - i intend on remaking the element tags so the logo matches the size of the text and sits by it's side. that way we wont have the huuuge tags we have now.
2 - i can change the text if anyone can find one more suitable to fit the feel of the game. milton seems to have drawn all the titles by hand so we cant really match those, but feel free to discuss and offer suggestions. it was easy with HS because we had both a font used in game, and a clear "comic book" idea when looking for fonts. now is a little more difficult. personally i actually like the current font, i feel it suits oversoul more than aqw.
3 - i can re-make the logo on the site (the little part that says wiki in front of the oversoul logo) to match a preferred font if we choose one.
4 - if anyone has suggestions for images to accompany other tags (like founder and rare) feel free to suggest. the element tag is partially redrawn and the soul gem tag is a total recreation from scratch so i'm open to any reasonable suggestions.
5 - if there's any other image tags ya think we need i can make em, just decide on which ones we want, and what colors we want them to be.

well, by "existing ones" I meant using the AQW ones, which I believe have a different font., which is why I was wondering if we should import those at all. I'm quite happy with the font being used for OS right now, as it feels quite inline with OS artwork.

I don't think we need to play around with the small tags, cuz really, as long as the image's height is the same as the text, it's fine, and as far as I can tell, it appears just fine in the indexes.

As for tag suggestions:
- Seasonal <- definitely, as Asuka pointed out, it'll help differentiate between rares and seasonals
- Mini Element tags?

Can't think of any other immediate tags we might need.

I like the current font we have. owo If you want to try and change them, try, but I grown used to them and like them :D

A new logo? Interesting. I would like to see what you can come up with!
As for a mini elements tag, we already do categorize them right? I don't think we need minis as well.
Only tags I feel we are missing is Seasonal, and maybe "Founder" as well. But that's a big maybe since we have no idea if its going to be a yearly reward like AQW.

So guys, I have news :D. I have recently became a Tester For Oversoul. As exciting as this is, I still have told Nulgath I will still do wiki work and he is fine with that.

However, I cannot post locations of characters so early so things I do post will be teasers of sorts. Showing you info I can show but I am not allowed to show specific information. I will still be here to help anyone who needs it!

I hope this doesn't make the wiki harder x.x

join the club my friend. everyone assumes that because i work for AE and do the wiki's i obviously have omnipotent like powers. truthfully you probably have more access in game for OS than i do now since my mod activation seems to have slipped thru the cracks. lols. i should really check up on that one.

I still haven't chosen my specifics yet, right? Hmm… Maybe Characters and Artifacts? NPCs, Locations, and Shops on the side.

We can still maintain other areas other than the ones we are assigned, right?

If you're one computer first try restarting the Internet connection if that doesn't work check if its only with that or are other tabs opening. Sometimes it doesn't work for me too but I just wait.
