3 words: too much reading xD Granted my guide is a(n outdated) wall of text, this is like the great wall of china compared to mine xD
Anyway, I got a lot of "nothing to do at work" time today, so I'll give it a go. Will provide feedback afterwards.
Edit: Well, that killed about an hour…yay. Anyway, it's looking good. A few things to suggest:
- The layout of the pictures could be changed a little, as it looks really messy on my work computer's monitor, which has a 1024x768 resolution…old schoooool xD. I know the way you did it shows 2 above and 2 below (which I see if I zoom out), but on my monitor at 100% zoom it shows up like this:
It wraps around the text. I might play with the formatting a little later on to get it to look right (regardless of resolution, for the sake of consistency)…but will leave it for now.
- The flow of the guide. For the most part, every "section" has it's own set of tabviews, which makes sense, but it's awkward to have to scroll back up and hit a different tab when it says "in this section…blahblah" when it usually should be scrolling down xD. I'd suggest, for the sake of making it a little more readable, doing something like this: Have the "Overview" section outside the tabs in the open and use the tabs to list the different parts within that section after that. For example, Character Creation would be in plain text, then the character overviews in tabview. Or Character overview in plain text, and appearance and stuff in tabs underneath.
Aside from that, the content is perfectly fine. Maaaaaybe a little tidbit on NPCs, but that may not be necessary, as it's glaringly obvious how to interact with them.
Great job on this.
